Just Keep Sewing

That’s what I keep on telling myself.  Keep at it, and you’ll get it all completed at some future date.  I have been to two indoor festivals (NH Indoor Games and the Regional Championship) so I have a whole new set of orders to work on.  When I try to combine this with my exercise schedule and gardening, my days are just packed.  I have the garden in, and have been riding my bike to school, so it’s definitely spring.

Tartan deliveries are my main worry at the moment.  The mail has been unbelievably slow, and packages coming from Scotland appear to have come by boat–excruciatingly slow!

I am in the countdown for Kilt Camp now.  We will have a blast, I am sure.  It is always very tiring, because I work from 8 AM to 8 PM.  This year I hope to have a nice-sized class, and to get everyone through the week in good order.  My one fear is that they may not order tartan in time–the deliveries that I have described can’t just be to me.

The current projects:  Dress Nova Scotia-almost done
                                   Dress Royal MacKellar-lay out
                                   Dress Lorne–waiting for tartan
                                   Dress Eildon–waiting for fabric

There are more, but it gets repetitive–I do have what I hope will be a beautiful wedding kilt in the pipeline:  Duke of Fife.  I will post a picture of this as soon as it comes.

That’s all for now!  See you at Camp!
